The dolphins can make a lot of noise! Sometimes it sounds like whistling, or a young screaming child, or of course, the "Flipper" sound from the TV show. Each dolphin has its own signature whistle that the others, and eventually the trainers, will recognize. The sounds are made through the blowhole on the top of their heads.
